Digital Trading Lead

Job title: Digital Trading Lead- 12 months contract

Location: Cumbria- 3 days office based per week

Salary: circa £40,000

Forward Role are excited to be back representing a well-established and much-loved retailer, based in Cumbria, who are looking for a Digital Trading Lead to join their team on a 12 month contract. This role is to cover maternity leave until September 2026.

You will oversee the trading plan of the website, optimise the customer journey and improve on-site content and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities will include;

• Optimise on-site search through implementation of relevant keywords
• Identify opportunities for A/B testing and co-ordinate their creation, execution and evaluation
• Develop and deliver the on-line merchandising strategy, driving KPI\’s and sales
• Utilise analytics tools to identify trends and develop insights on customer behaviour and journey flows
• Manage x2 direct reports and oversee the team\’s day-to-day operation

To be considered for this role, you must;

• Have previous experience within a similar role, ideally within a B2C environment
• Have working knowledge of analytics tools and providing insights and recommendations
• Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Have good working knowledge of MS Excel
