We are Blue Arrow Working for Blue Arrow offers you the opportunity to work in various businesses and different settings around Merseyside and surrounding areas. You will have previous experience in working with care homes, schools, warehouses and industrial businesses. As an experienced chef, you will be passionate about food and the role you deliver. You will also be used to working in fast-paced environments and enjoy seeing the difference you make to various business operations. Why work with us? * Flexibility – you choose when and where to work. We have clients in Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Crosby, Southport, Blackpool, St Helens and other areas near Liverpool so we can find you jobs best for your location. * Better work-life balance – no more 12-hour night shifts (unless you want them of course) – our clients require chefs for morning shifts, or 9-5s, giving you more time for family and doing things you love. * Variety – you get to work and try different environments and meet new people. * Easily manage your shifts through online scheduler – you give us your weekly availability, and we make sure that you get work and your preferences are met. * Weekly pay on Fridays. Every shift is guaranteed a minimum of 6 hours work. What are we looking for? * Level 3 Food Health certificate (or level 2 and extensive UK cheffing experience that can be evidenced) * DBS check dated last 2 years * Reliability – you commit to shifts you can 100% deliver * Ideally you will have a driving license You will be looking for extra work from your current role or a new challenge away from the low pay and lack of recognition you may have had from a previous employer. We can guarantee 5 days\’ work per week for chefs who are great and who impress the businesses we work with. You will be used to travelling in and around Merseyside and love working in different settings and leading small catering teams. Our interview process All candidates are interviewed for this role.
