Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington. It\βs home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, conference centre, restaurant and bar, spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.
The Role
The Local Marketing Manager will develop and execute the local marketing plan to grow awareness, leads and revenue across the key business segments (membership, food & beverage, meetings and events, spa and sports) as well as driving member engagement and incremental revenue opportunities from club members. Working closely with the Commercial Director and the central commercial marketing team you\βll maximise opportunities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies in collaboration with the Commercial Director and central commercial team to build awareness and revenue growth
- Promote member engagement and retention through initiatives including emails, app and website updates, onsite promotions and event marketing
- Drive new member acquisition through targeted local campaigns, digital advertising and influencer partnerships
- Create and manage marketing assets, working with agencies and internal teams to deliver high-quality digital and print materials across all relevant business segments.
- Generate original content, including photography and videography, in partnership with departments across the business to support storytelling and engagement
- Analyse performance and manage budgets, using data-led insights to optimise ROI and ensure effective use of marketing resources
- Manage and develop the Member Engagement Marketing Executive, providing coaching and guidance to support their growth and performance
- Support the local implementation of broader L+R initiatives, such as wellness retreats, promotions and other group-wide campaigns.
- Act as the local brand guardian, championing The Lensbury brand across all operational teams while ensuring consistent brand representation.

What weβre looking for:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
- Excellent communicator
- A degree in a marketing/business related subject or a professional qualification is desirable
- Experience in a marketing role is a must
- Ability to manage, analyse and present data effectively in order to make informed decisions on marketing activity with a proven track record of demonstrating ROI
- Strong understanding of marketing tactics, including digital, CRM and design
- Excellent time management skills with a natural ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Excellent written and communication skills with an eye for detail
- 2-5 years experience in a management role is desirable
- Knowledge/experience of the hotel/hospitality/leisure/event industry is desirable
