Freight Forwarder Location: Bradford Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: Up to Β£40,000 DEO
An established and growing international freight forwarder is seeking a proactive European Road Freight Planner to join their Bradford-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in road freight operations who enjoys taking ownership of the full transport process across Europe.
You\βll play a key role in planning and coordinating vehicle movements, managing customs requirements, and ensuring every shipment is delivered smoothly and efficiently. A good understanding of the German, French, and Benelux markets is highly desirable.
What You\βll Be Doing

Plan and oversee daily European road freight operations from booking to final delivery

Communicate with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate shipments

Prepare and check documentation for customs clearance and compliance

Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and service growth
What We\βre Looking For

Previous experience in European freight forwarding (import/export) for a UK Based forwarder

Knowledge of customs formalities and documentation

Excellent communication and customer service skills
