Would you like to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team as a Tenancy Sustainment Manager and help us to deliver an excellent service for residents? This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is a customer-focused team player who wants to make a difference.
Your Impact in the Role :
- Delivery of an effective, agile, high quality tenancy sustainment service which enables customers to thrive in their tenancy & live in neighbourhoods that are clean, safe, secure places to live, work or visit. Leading a team playing an integral role in supporting the increasing variety and diversity of people we house to manage and sustain their tenancy.
- Line management responsibility of all staff within the Tenancy Sustainment team including undertaking regular 1 to 1 supervisions, appraisals and effective performance management. Providing strong direction & leadership including demonstrating a proactive approach to risk management.
- Working with local stakeholders to ensure that residents are receiving the services that they expect and deserve. Stakeholders could include, but are not limited to, LA partners, councillors, MPs, resident committee members, commercial customers, etc.
What You\’ll Bring :
- Experience of managing a team & strong performance management
- Excellent understanding of all aspects of Tenancy Management.
- Knowledge and ability to manage Tenancy/Leasehold management, Tenancy Fraud and Anti-Social Behaviour, including but not limited to dealing with Domestic Violence, Domestic Abuse, Hate Crime, Vulnerable Residents and Safeguarding.
- Experience of partnership development with key stakeholders
- Good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which we operate.
- Ability to quickly disseminate difficult and complex information in a simple and engaging way
- Ability to make independent decisions and recognise circumstances where risks or decisions need to be escalated
