Location: Hams Hall
Hours: 20 hours per week, Sat and Sun only 06:30 – 16:00
Working as a warehouse operative with extra responsibilities, that include being the first point of contact in your designated work areas to support the Operations Supervisors/ Managers. The role includes training employees in warehouse processes and assisting in support and first-line maintenance of equipment.
Responsibilities
- To perform all the duties of a warehouse operative.
- Monitor activities within the designated work area to ensure tasks are completed in line with policies and procedures.
- To support the team and ensure internal SLAs are met.
- To provide support to the supervisor in key areas of processes and training.
- Supervise and delegate work tasks to the team in the absence of the supervisor.
- Adhere to all Security, Health & Safety, and housekeeping policies and processes.
- Ensure Training for the team is up to date and completed where needed.
- Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained within the designated work areas.
- To actively contribute and support the SQDIPE initiative to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy, and safe.
- Maintain pick/pack accuracy and SLA.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to team members, as required.
- Escalate any performance/safety issues.
