HGV Driver Class 1
£16.25 per hour Days
6-7am Start times.
Preston
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
We are looking for 8 Class 1 HGV drivers to start immediately for our client based in Preston and 5 Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Leyland.
As a HGV Driver you must:
Have a C+E driving License
Have a CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
Have less than 8 points on your licence
Be keen to look after your vehicle.
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
Trunking from depot to depot, some pick ups and collections and the delivery of goods to commercial warehouses.
Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.
Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours
The successful HGV Drivers can expect:
MondayFriday: £16.25 PAYE Per Hour.
Weekend enhancements available
Weekly Pay, paid on time every time.
8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
We have found other driving, logistics and warehouse professionals to be successful such as
Class 1 or Class 2 or 7.5 Ton or Heavy Goods Driver and other commercial driving professions.
