An established, highly successful service provider in Liverpool are seeking a Head of Financial Analytics & Reporting. An exciting new opportunity has been created for a Head of Financial Analytics and Reporting, to oversee the production and distribution of management accounts across the Group while leading the transition towards automated, streamlined, and data-driven reporting processes. This senior role focuses on ensuring data is structured correctly, reporting is accurate and aligned with business needs. The position will closely collaborate with the FP&A team to create and maintain a standardised set of reports that will drive performance at both the Group and divisional levels. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in leading financial data and reporting initiatives, as well as experience with the latest business intelligence tools and systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the team responsible for the production and distribution of management accounts across the Group Develop and drive a vision for automating and streamlining reporting processes to reduce reliance on manual data uploads and extracts from Excel Ensure financial data is structured, stored, and utilised effectively across the Group Lead the design and implementation of a standardised set of reports used across the business to improve performance tracking and decision-making Spearhead the implementation of automated data management and reporting processes, reducing manual interventions, and improving consistency Oversee the adoption of the latest tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, SAP) to improve data integrity and reporting efficiency Collaborate closely with the FP&A team to ensure reporting aligns with forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking processes Champion the development of a robust and scalable reporting framework that meets the needs of senior management and various business functions Work closely with senior leaders to understand their data and reporting needs Ensure reporting provides the necessary insights to meet the expectations of the Board and Executive Committee, with a focus on business performance Engage regularly with the business to ensure the reports drive performance improvement and are aligned with the Group's strategic goals Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and upskilling opportunities to build a high-performing, data-driven culture Drive the integration of new reporting systems, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption across the Group Manage the relationship with IT and other departments to ensure reporting tools are properly integrated and understoodCandidate Profile For this new and high-profile Head of Financial Analytics & Reporting role, based near Liverpool, you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with significant post qualified experience within a large corporate environment. Ideally you will have previous experience of running Business Intelligence / Data teams within a large Group structure, within the finance reporting stream. You will have operated at a senior level and possess the confidence and experience to interact and support at Exec level. A track record of developing, improving and creating 'best-in-class' business data and financial reports are required, while experience of complex 'data heavy' sectors such as retail, property, telecomms or logistics would be advantageous. The role requires a strong relationship builder with personal credibility, and high impact communication and presentation skills, who can influence at all levels. Flexible/hybrid working will be considered, but a regular presence in the Northwest and flexibility to travel to other sites will be important.
