Meraki Talent are supporting an Investment Management client who are seeking an experienced Financial Services professional to join an established Fund Oversight team in Glasgow. The primary focus will be monitoring the performance of delegates’ Portfolio Valuation (NAV Production) and Financial Reporting services, as well as supporting the oversight of Transfer Agency services. The role ensures these functions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and agreed service levels.Duties will include;

  • Support daily operations by ensuring all tasks are documented and completed on time, and efficiently resolve issues and queries from delegates, escalating when necessary.

  • Periodically review and update departmental procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Collaborate with the Relationship Management Team to handle interactions with Sponsors and funds professionally and in a timely manner.

  • Keep the Senior Manager and Leadership Team informed about risks, opportunities, threats, and activities impacting the team or wider business.

  • Oversee the delivery of Portfolio Valuation and Financial Reporting services by delegates, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance; provide support for Transfer Agency oversight services as required.

  • Ensure fair treatment of fund sponsors and end-investors through transparent communication with external entities, thorough investigations of breaches, and a proactive approach to regulatory compliance.

  • Monitor adherence to Outsourcing and Delegation policies, and provide input to the Relationship Management & Business Development teams.

  • Maintain accurate records and data in accordance with Group policies.

  • Utilise management information to identify risks, issues, trends, and opportunities, and implement effective decision-making and escalation processes.

Applicants should have gained extensive experience in Portfolio Valuation and/or Financial Reporting functions. Additionally, applicants should have a strong understanding of the oversight responsibilities of an ACD (Authorised Corporate Director).
