Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Print Operator on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Livingston. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with ink or print-based experience to join a growing and innovative team.
About the Role:
Working on-site, your role will focus on supporting ink production operations and providing essential technical support. You\βll work closely with production teams to ensure colour consistency, quality control, and smooth operations across the print floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense ink in line with daily production plans.
Manage press returns and organise by colour clusters.
Place weekly material orders and book in deliveries using the internal management system.
Maintain accurate stock records and filing for month-end counts.
Replenish materials and ensure the ink area complies with hygiene and quality standards.
Support on-site colour correction and basic troubleshooting.
Participate in daily production meetings and assist with press/customer trials.
Provide colour matchings within agreed timeframes.
Maintain colour measurement equipment and produce monthly KPI reports.
Shifts & Hours:
Rotating 3-shift pattern:
Monday β Friday: 6am β 2pm.
Monday β Thursday: 1pm β 10pm.
Sunday: Flexible based on production needs.
What We\βre Looking For:
Previous experience working with ink, colour matching, or print-based machinery.
Excellent colour vision and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.What\βs On Offer:
Salary: Β£28,000 β Β£30,000 per annum (depending on experience).
