Astute\’s Renewables team is partnering with a UK based renewable energy company who specialises in the development, construction and operation of utility scale solar projects, to recruit a project manager to be based in the Warrington area.

The project manager role comes with a starting salary of £55,000 plus benefits

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

Manage the projects from the sales department handover, throughout the project lifecycle and finally to the customer and their maintenance team.

To be aware of planning applications and to complete prior to construction beginning.

Develop project plans, ensuring timelines, budgets and resources are allocated effectively.

Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, to make sure work is completed to schedule.

To make sure complete project compliance, in line with CDM 2015

Maintain project documentation, including, RAMS, fire and emergency plans and traffic management documents.

Conduct quality assurance reviews on a regular basis.

Conduct project meeting and provide projects updates

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar

Project Management experience within utility scale solar

Local authority planning application experience

Knowledge of CDM regulations

Personal skills

The project manager would suit someone who is:

Excellent organisation skills

Fantastic communication, across verbal and written platforms

Able to work effectively and to tight deadlines
