Job Description
MAINTAINING FUTURES
At Futures we're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver Great Places, Great Services and Great Tomorrows, to help achieve this we're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to complete our awesome Grounds Maintenance Team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Youll need to have experience of grass cutting and shrub bed management, and the plant,equipment and Heath & Safety associated with these tasks
As well as a background in grounds maintenance and horticulture you will also need to have a can do attitude and enjoying working in all weather types that the UK seasons bring us!
Youll also need a full, UK driving licence.
A few key points from our role profile:
- Undertake grounds maintenance duties; grass cutting, shrub bed management.
- Operate and maintain safely grounds maintenance plant and equipment: Ride on mower, pedestrian mower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, powered blower (backpack & handheld), rotavator in accordance with training and manufacturers guidelines.
- Operate specialist grounds maintenance plant and equipment where competent to do so: chainsaw, brushwood chipper, stump grinder, tractor plus attachments.
- Assist with preparing previously maintained land to convert to wildflowers (rotavating, clearing, establishing free drainage, sowing and maintaining).
