We\’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing commercial team. If you\’re eager to work on major industrial and built environment projects while developing your skills in a supportive, dynamic environment this is your chance.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Supporting all commercial aspects of exciting construction projects from start to finish
- Keeping on top of site records, photos, labour sheets, and project documentation
- Leading or contributing to meetings with design teams and site teams
- Managing purchase orders, subcontractor orders, valuations, and cost tracking
- Preparing forecasts, tracking budgets, and ensuring project profitability
- Helping with client valuations and external reporting
- Collaborating with experienced professionals and mentoring junior staff
No two days will be the same. You\’ll work closely with experienced QS and site teams on real projects with real impact not stuck behind a desk pushing paperwork.
What You Bring
- A Bachelors degree, HND, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Solid experience on industrial or built environment projects
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a sharp eye for detail
- Familiarity with surveying systems, procurement, and variation management
