Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy - London

My client is an expanding multidisciplinary firm with a strong presence in the London market. Due to an increasing influx of work, they urgently need an Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor for their London offices. Their Cost Consultancy service covers all aspects of cost consultancy services on projects and involves a wide range of clients across diverse sectors. They work closely with stakeholders and team members to deliver the best value on all projects. From commercial property investors to developers, their portfolio ranges from refurbishment schemes to new build developments. Your role as a Quantity Surveyor will require close collaboration with Building Consultancy, Investment, Agency, and Property Management teams to provide clients with the latest market knowledge. Key responsibilities: – ✔️Providing advice on sought-after project types to various core clients. – ✔️Developing and managing client relationships. – ✔️Helping the Director in managing the team and achieving targets. – ✔️Delivering entire projects. – ✔️Producing cost plans and reports. – ✔️Developing cost management strategy. – ✔️Tracking and documenting changes. – ✔️Managing Risk processes and Value Management. – ✔️Attending and chairing meetings. – ✔️Preparing formal project progress reports. Skills and Experience: – Strong pre-contract quantity surveying functions knowledge. – Managing tender processes and post-contract quantity surveying services. – Experience in private practice is advantageous. – RICS qualified or similar. – Full UK driving licence. – Experience working independently for a consultancy firm preferred.
