Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded building services consultancy at a time of continued growth. We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to work on a diverse range of projects, take ownership of design delivery, and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs across multiple sectors, working closely with clients, architects, and internal teams. The role offers strong technical exposure, leadership responsibility, and a clear pathway for career development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver mechanical building services design from concept through to completion
- Lead projects and manage design delivery across multiple sectors
- Coordinate with electrical, public health, and wider design teams
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within building services
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education or mixed-use
- Familiar with UK building regulations and design standards
- A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
