Job Description

About the team:As a UI Designer you will join the newly formed Design and Research team within our Transformation function. Working collaboratively in an agile team alongside and supporting Senior Experience Designers and UX writers to create intuitive and accessible digital experiences across both the Savings and Lending platforms. Please note, this role can be based in either the Wolverhampton or Chatham office and has the benefit of operating within our hybrid-working policy of three days a week in the office and two days from home.

This role will require some travel between our UK offices. What you will be doing: As a UI Designer you will translate user needs, business requirements, and UX insights into engaging and high-quality UI designs across web and mobile journeys for both our savings and lending platforms. Your portfolio will demonstrate your strong attention to detail and experience working with tools, including Figma to showcase visually compelling, accessible and user friendly interfaces.Your responsibilities will also include:Design accessible and intuitive UI components, animations, and interactions for onboarding, savings, servicing, and lending journeysUnderstand the complexity of our financial systems to deliver delightful, high-impact experiences at key moments in the user journeyMaintain and contribute to our design system, ensuring visual consistency, brand alignment, scalability and accessibilityCollaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are faithfully implemented and perform well across platformsEnsure compliance with accessibility (WCAG), legal, regulatory, and brand standards What's in it for you?
