Tool Room Supervisor

The Tool Room supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of existing press tools and using a range of machines including lathes, surface grinders, milling machines and CNC Lathes. The successful candidate will come from a Toolmaker/Tool room background and have some CNC Lathe / wire EDM experience. Client Details A well-established manufacturing company based in the Leeds area, they are looking to add an established Toolmaker to supervise within the tool room. Description Bench Fitting / Manual machining and CNC Machining Set and operate a range of machines. Making tools from scratch as well as repairing servicing tools. Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed. Complete tool reports. Comply with company standards. Control tool modifications. Preventative maintenance, modifications and day to day servicing and repairs of production tooling. Fabrication of fixtures and spare parts for tooling. Methodically dismantling and assembling Press toolsProfile Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar Experience with CNC Lathes desirable Ability to read and intrerpret Engineering drawings Good communication and interpersonal skills.
