Payroll and Finance Administrator
Great Dunmow Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
14.87- 16.92 per hour ( 29,000- 33,000 equivalent)

A growing and well-established company in the Great Dunmow area is seeking a Payroll and Finance Administrator to support their busy finance department. This role starts on a temporary basis and will go permanent after successful probation period, offering an immediate start and competitive hourly pay.

Key Responsibilities for this Payroll and Finance Administrator:

  • Process payroll for approximately 130 employees
  • Assist with pension enrolments, statutory payments, and HMRC submissions
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including starters and leavers
  • Handle purchase and sales invoices, staff expenses, and payment runs
  • Reconcile bank transactions and support the maintenance of control accounts

Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven experience in payroll and general finance administration
  • Solid understanding of Sage 50 Accounts (experience with Sage Payroll is an advantage)
  • Good Excel skills and confident with bookkeeping tasks
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
