Multi Skilled Joiner

Experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner required in and around Northamptonshire, Rushen and the surrounding areas to work on repairs and property maintenance in tenanted and void properties on behalf of a local housing association. The duration is for 3 months work but could turn into a permanent role for the right candidate. The Client Our client is an award winning main contractor who specialises in regeneration projects and operates nationwide. Duties/Responsibilities Experienced and skilled in Carpentry, Plumbing and Tiling 2nd Fix Joinery/Carpentry – replacing internal doors, architraves, skirtings, odd cupboard doors, boxing in pipes and replacing work tops Plumbing – Repairing Leaks, changing taps, replacing sink-trap-s Tiling – Replacing the odd tiles in kitchens and bathrooms Completing all duties required to a high standard and as per specification within the deadline Communicating daily with the site team/Supervisor effectively and raising any issues to the management team Using a PDA smart phone to update progress and showing completion of your work to colleagues Carrying out a duty of care when dealing with elderly and vulnerable tenantsThe total hours are 40 per week, 8am – 4:30pm with a 30 minute break – Monday to Friday. Benefits £20-£21 per hour CIS OR Umbrella payment Company Van and Fuel Card Included Street Parking Potential to go permanent with a reputable contractor after 3 months Regular work on a week-to-week basis, Monday to Friday.
