Developing talent within the organisation will be central to the role. The role holder will also be responsible for organising suitable training solutions to support organisational needs and career development as well as managing budget and third-party training providers.Principle AccountabilitiesDevelops and implements learning strategy and program that is aligned with our business goals.Develops a full understanding of the various functions and their specific training needs and works with the leadership team to deliver effective solutions.Develops and assesses the success of development plans across the business through robust Training Needs Analysis.Develops and leads the provision of Leadership Development across the business.Supports the HRBPs to deliver on people plans by developing and delivering on specific training needs identified.Identifies training needs and delivers solutions to support strategic workforce plan.Leads the AGSs talent management agenda across the business, developing a robust process to manage talent and enable succession planning.Sources and makes available a variety of development activities, training materials and channels for promoting to business leaders.Tracks budgets, building and maintaining relationships with third-party training providers.Designs and produces training materials including e-learning courses.Stays abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory and developments in learning technologies.Work closely with the wider People & Culture teams and business leaders to design and deliver training material to support any Insights/analytic driven requirements.Champions and help support the roll out of customer service training to all staff across AGS.Works closely with the HR Central Services team to improve learning aligned to HR policy and implementation.Supports employee engagement activities across the business helping business leaders and the People & Culture team to build a positive culture.Create great experience for all customers both internal and external by instilling high levels of customer service across our teams and the wider business.As a member of the AGS People & Culture team role model exemplar leadership behaviours.Support continual proactive innovation across the business, promote and encourage everyone to try new ideas, work and succeed together so that we can have a positive impactQualifications And ExperienceGraduate calibre or equivalent experienceCIPD qualified or working towards qualificationPrevious experience managing learning & development initiatives within commercial environmentExperience of designing, implementing & evaluating a variety of training solutions including e-Learning & DigitalStrong presentation skills with creative approachGood problem-solving skills with the ability to offer pragmatic solutionsPassionate about developing peopleExcellent communication and organisation skillsExperience dealing with third-party training providersExcellent interpersonal skills and proven track record of influencing business leadersPC literate including proficiency in Microsoft Packages. Advanced Excel skills advantageous.Framework and boundariesThe role is an integral member of the People & Culture Management Team. It requires the implicit use of personal drive/motivation, initiative, and innovation.
