This role provides proactive and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to four fee earners, in collaboration with secretarial colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient support across the team.
Responsibilities
- Advanced diary management for fee earners, balancing priorities and acting as a gatekeeper to protect their time.
- Typing from dictation and producing, formatting, and amending documents to a high standard.
- Applying for searches and Land Registry applications as required.
- Managing client communications via telephone and email, often responding on behalf of fee earners.
- Full meeting preparation and administration, including arranging meetings, accommodation, and travel.
- Lead project management of client matters, business development activities, or events.
- File management, including opening/closing files, compliance checks, and maintaining the document management system.
- Assisting with billing and financial management, including compiling and analysing data.
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff, sharing best practice and supporting their development.
- Leading or supporting projects and events, including webinars and firmwide initiatives.
- Driving process improvements and contributing to firmwide projects.
- Provide CRM and business development support, including compiling management reports, reporting on costs, and coordinating with colleagues to gather up-to-date information.
