My client is seeking an experienced Rent Arrears Team Leader who can successfully manage a team of Financial Inclusion Officers. The Team Leader will work closely with the Rents and Neighbourhoods Team to ensure rent arrears, other debts and other tenancy sustainment are responded to promptly. The Income manager understands the pressures of the position and offers support with a comfortable workload.
With experience of managing an Income team, the candidate will be expected to monitor performance of staff whilst managing their own workload. The Team Leader will join a well-established team and bring success amongst knowledgeable peers with ideas for the future.
Duties Include:
- Knowledge of income management and rent arrears recovery
- Excellent knowledge of The Welfare Reform Policy and implementing this to the team
- Managing and developing staff; monitoring performance through 1-2-1 appraisals
- Identifying improvements on councils' procedures and staff management
