GP Specializing in Dermatology
Salary: 120K pro rata plus generous commission structure
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated GP with an extended role in Dermatology to join an existing team of Doctors/Dermatologists in a private practice based in London.
Our client is looking for a doctor with a broad base in General Dermatology, skin cancer, and skin surgery, including mole screening.
Experience in laser or aesthetic medicine is an advantage but not essential.
Applicants should be on the specialist register or within six months of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.

Education

Essential:
The candidate for this position should ideally have expertise in General Dermatology covering a broad range of conditions such as inflammatory, infectious, genetic, autoimmune, pigmentary, metabolic, allergic, and connective tissue dermatoses. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in common Dermatological disorders. Experience in managing skin cancers and proficiency in Dermoscopy is essential.

Experience

Essential:
Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Dermatology.
Experience of managing patients with skin cancer.
Experience in skin cancer (diagnostic) biopsies and excision.
Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients.

Skills

Essential:
Independent on skin biopsies.
Able to run clinics and services efficiently and smoothly.
Broad range of experience in Dermatology.
Ability to carry out procedures in a one-stop clinical setting.
Desirable:
Experience in Medical Lasers.
