Forge Talent is exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, international business to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their finance career or with previous experience in transactional finance who is eager to broaden their knowledge and grow in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
The business operates internationally, with most of the finance team based overseas, so this role suits someone with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of both sales and purchase invoices
- Managing supplier and customer queries
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs and statement reconciliations
- Supporting finance and non-finance teams with ad hoc queries
- Aiding in month-end close activities, including correct VAT entries
- Supporting the audit process by compiling required documentation
What We\’re Looking For:
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical ability
- Experience with accounting software
- Studying towards AAT or keen to pursue professional qualifications (study support provided)
- Previous exposure to accounts payable or receivable (desirable but not essential)
- Confident communicator who works well independently and as part of a team
- Organised, adaptable, and eager to learn
