I\’m currently working with a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Witham who are looking to bring ambitious individuals into their workshop team as Trainee Welder Fabricators.
If you\’ve recently completed a course in welding and fabrication, have some hands-on experience and you\’re keen to develop your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal role for you.
Location: Witham
Pay: Competitive trainee rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Overtime: Weekdays at 1.33x Saturdays at 1.5x
Benefits: Free on-site parking, structured on-the-job training, clear progression routes
What You\’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with MIG welding tasks alongside experienced fabricators

Learning fabrication techniques using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery

Building confidence in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

Gaining real-world experience in a busy production environment
What We\’re Looking For:

A qualification in welding or fabrication (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2+)

A strong interest in mechanical or hands-on engineering work

Previous workshop or practical experience (desirable but not essential)

A proactive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn
