Amazon Locker and Counter are an alternative delivery solution available to Amazon customers and as the Sales Operations Manager, you will own the functionality of fleet hardware and software solutions. Working with the 3rd party organizations that are responsible for Internet Service provision and Hardware faults or Maintenance calls outs, the role of the Sales Operations Manager will be to arrange and optimize new location installations, hardware moves or decommissions and to manage Locker downtime. This includes the speed with which we respond to outages. Determining the optimum solution set-up on a location by location basis will be the responsibility of the Sales Operations Manager working in conjunction with the service providers. Closely collaborating with the Business Development Managers and Account Managers in JP, the Sales Operations Manager will also be in daily contact with the extended worldwide Pickup and Return Points team, establishing timelines for new deployments and creating an executable pipeline of primed locations for Installation service providers and Maintenance teams alike. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate. Previous experience in IT roll-outs or projects of a similar nature would make for a good platform to step into this role from. The role will also require expertise both in internal team project management and include the management of a small team of external technical personnel.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the hardware and software elements of Amazon Lockers in Japan, creating a robust schedule of physical installations
• Manage global supply chain working with product team, SCM team, and suppliers.
• Manage new feature launch/update of operating tool and systems
• Own new product introduction
• Maintain service uptime of 99% by working with vendors, suppliers and Maintenance teams
• Manage and report on the following key metrics on a weekly basis
o Service Uptime
o Delivery performance impacts as a result of kiosk faults
o Customer concessions due to kiosk fault
o % of issues resolved remotely
o Time taken to respond to incidents
o Health of Locker fleet (% of bins available)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
– Bachelor\’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
– Fluent Japanese
– Business English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
– Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
– Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
