Job Description/Responsibilities
Sazerac UK is seeking a dynamic HR Manager for an FTC Maternity Cover – The HR Manager will support the full spectrum of HR operations for our UK & Ireland team members. This role requires a solid understanding of UK & Ireland labour law, strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage diverse HR activities. The HR Manager will ensure compliance with local regulations, support team members, and contribute to creating an engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK & Ireland labour laws and regulations, providing guidance to management and staff.
- Manage HR administration, including employment contracts, personnel files, and document control.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding for roles.
- Lead employee relations matters, providing support in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
- Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with UK & Ireland legal standards.
- Maintain HR systems and generate reports to aid data-driven decision-making.
- Organize employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR enquiries within the UK and Ireland business units.
- Full management of the company benefits package.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of HR experience.
- In-depth knowledge of UK & Ireland labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting recruitment activities.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with payroll coordination and HR information systems is advantageous.
- Prior experience in the beverage, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
