They train and support brilliant teachers to work in the schools that need them most and they\’re looking for a talented Philanthropy Manager to build game‑changing partnerships that make educational equality a reality. You\’ll play a vital role in unlocking the transformational funding that fuels this organisation\’s mission, helping every child fulfil their potential, no matter their background. Salary: £48,335.96 + £3,000 for London weighting Location: Hybrid or remote, based from your nearest office (Birmingham, Bournemoth Bristol, Chatham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich or Nottingham) Contract: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours, with flexible and condensed options available) Benefits: 27 days holiday (+ bank holidays), 6% pension, agile working, wellbeing support and a culture that values what you achieve What you\’ll be doing: Spotting the opportunities – Research, identify and cultivate new High‑Net‑Worth Individuals and philanthropic funders, taking them from first contact to long‑term partnership. Telling the story – Develop compelling, evidence‑led cases for support that inspire donors to invest in the charity\’s mission. Sealing the deal – Secure strategic, multi‑year gifts (six figures+) and build a pipeline worth around £350K. Making it personal – Deliver bespoke stewardship plans, ensuring every donor feels valued and sees the impact of their support. Driving results – Track and report on progress through Salesforce, providing clear insight into income, impact, and engagement. Who we\’re looking for: Proven experience in high‑value or philanthropic fundraising, with a strong track record of securing significant 5‑6 figures gifts and multi‑year partnerships. Confident, strategic relationship‑builder with the emotional intelligence to engage senior stakeholders, trustees, and major donors. Excellent communicator and storyteller – able to craft persuasive proposals and deliver inspiring presentations. Organised and data‑driven, comfortable managing multiple relationships and deadlines through Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Passionate about equality, education and creating opportunity for every child. Bonus points if you\’ve worked in education, youth, or children\’s charities, or have experience navigating the legal and ethical aspects of philanthropy. Why this role matters?
