Neighbourhood Mental Health Team Lead – B7, full time, Permanent post
Overview
NHS adult Community mental health services are transforming and we are establishing integrated Neighbourhood Mental Health teams across East Sussex. The Hill Rise service is based in the seaside town of Newhaven, set in the South Downs National Park and close to Brighton.
This post is open to experienced Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. It is a generic Team Management role, and we will support your ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Neighbourhood Mental Health team; function independently and within a team to support clients with complex and enduring mental health needs in the community.
- Build trusting relationships with local partners and contribute to improving service reputation and public confidence.
- Support and supervise the team, manage day-to-day issues, monitor budget, and ensure quality targets are met.
- Carry out clinical work as required and apply developed clinical skills to manage complex and demanding situations.
- Help develop new ways of working and quality improvement within the team.
- Be committed to staff wellbeing and contribute to a supportive working environment.
Qualifications/Experience
- Open to experienced Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.
- Clinically experienced with ability to work in a multi-disciplinary context.
