Role Description:
GTD – NGET SCADA Additional Designs-Managed File Transfer Architect SME
Urgently required to lead/support Managed File Transfer Design.
An architect/SME with knowledge of Managed File Transfer for on-premises deployment and operating between closed domains (CNI to Enterprise-push from CNI, pull into CNI from Enterprise, ie, no inbound connections into CNI). The SME is responsible for the high and low-level design and build documents and the deployment and configuration of the solution within an on-premises, highly available, critical national infrastructure solution to enhance CAF and CIS-2 level certification.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of MFT on-premises deployments
Experienced in high- and low-level design and build documentation.
Experienced in build and configuration within a Broadcom VCF (VMware virtual platform).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of security best practices.
Experience with on-premises deployment.
Knowledge of hybrid on-premises to SaaS FTP services
Excellent coordination and collaboration with infrastructure teams.
Understanding of security and risk implications around MFT, including TLS breakout and inspection.
