We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Helpdesk 1st Line Analyst to join our growing team based in Winsford. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic helpdesk environment, providing technical support and exceptional service to employees across multiple sites.
You will act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries and support requests, provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues, escalating when necessary. You will ensure new employees are fully set up across all systems and are equipped with the appropriate hardware. Then maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
This role is ideal for individuals with previous first-line support experience or recent college/university graduates eager to launch their career in IT. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within a global organization.
The role offers opportunities to travel to other sites across Europe, gain technical training and professional development as well as working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
What will this role involve?
- Provide 1st line and some 2nd Line internal helpdesk support to users across all sites.
- Respond to IT support queries in person, over the phone, email and video calls.
- Respond to enquiries from users and help resolve any hardware/software problems.
- Log all support issues on the helpdesk system.
- Carry out daily systems checks.
- Install PC updates and ensure standard builds are maintained.
- Work to company defined SLA’s & KPI’s.
- Travel to UK Head office and other AMS sites
What we\’re looking for?
- Minimum 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Flexible, pro-active with \’hands on\’ approach.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows 10 & 11.
- Any exposure to Windows Server and Networking desirable.
