Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Base pay range: $16.00/hr – $23.00/hr

Impact you’ll make

  • Ensuring high‑quality products are available in our prepared foods area
  • Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser‑quality food products
  • Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food
  • Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area

What you’ll do

  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing relevant action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Hourly wage range

$16.00 to $23.00* (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location)

Additional compensation

Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety)
