Pumps Product Manager
Celeros Flow Technology – Global Pump Product Manager role focused on the strategic planning, forecasting, and marketing of centrifugal, reciprocating, screw and specialty pumps through all stages of the product lifecycle. The role requires working closely with market sector leads, NPD management, regional sales, multi‑site operations and global design centers to develop new products, market and manage the lifecycle of pump products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze market, customer and competitor intelligence to identify growth and margin expansion opportunities.
- Define value proposition and product differentiation to provide competitive advantage.
- Develop global list pricing strategy and advise on regional pricing strategies.
- Plan and oversee new product launches and manage launches according to defined NPD gates.
- Lead post‑launch reviews and ensure relevant learning is captured and acted upon.
- Develop product lifecycle management roadmaps, rationalize and retire products, and ensure products achieve targeted price margins.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing and operations to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs.
- Define and maintain Global Product Training plan and provide technical and commercial support to Sales and Operations.
- Coordinate with Marketing Communications to facilitate market collateral strategies and promote the product externally with customers, partners and media.
- Track and report product line metrics including order intake, profitability, on‑time delivery, market share and new product vitality index.

Specialist Product Knowledge
- Engineered‑to‑order and configured‑to‑order centrifugal, reciprocating, screw and specialty pumps across oil & gas, nuclear power, conventional power, renewable power, petrochemical and industrial markets.
- Understanding of EPC sales strategies, price lists and selling strategy both direct and via channel partners.
- Familiarity with API‑610 high‑energy pumps in the energy market.
- Experience designing and driving a full product life‑cycle model across a range of industries.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Development or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Ten plus years of relevant experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Pump product and market knowledge in Oil / Gas and Energy sectors.
Physical Demands
- Daily standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing and seeing; hand and finger reach for computer and telephone work.
- Occasional stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift light to moderate objects.
- Occasional travel by air or road and extended periods in a car or plane.
Working Conditions
- Moderate business office noise with computers, phone and printers.
