Overview
Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Role: Operations Supervisor. Hours: 40 hours per week. Salary: £34,681.61. Reports to: Operations Manager. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team to achieve and exceed SLAs.
- Distribute work orders and manage the workload of the employees.
- Plan daily business activities; coordinate and implement processes.
- First point of contact for all process and technical faults and forwarding of reports to the involved departments.
- Identify issues or problems and initiate corrective measures and success control.
- Ensure SLA compliance.
- Work in the SAP system.
- Participate in resource planning (staff and infrastructure).
- Create and evaluate reports.
- Ensure the quality and service level specifications.
- People management activities.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with computerised systems.
- Experience and understanding of working in a temperature-controlled environment is an advantage.
- Able to demonstrate reliability, good time management and organisation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Good numerical skills and record-keeping skills.
- Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Show the ability to take ownership of an issue, seeing it through from start to finish in a professional manner.
