Your role as a Senior Product Manager – Desktop Solutions leader will support the Desktop Experience and Platforms team’s objective to deliver best-in-class user experience on all PC, Mac, Virtual desktop and mobile platforms across EY while driving continuous operational excellence across our portfolio of products and services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Driving successful outcomes against Infrastructure and Operations goals such as:
  • Guarantee production stability through the establishment of the right metrics for our products and services and adjusting / adding / removing as needed. Maintain a consistent rhythm of the business by understanding business objectives, ongoing focus on our customer, and driving incident reduction. Continuous review of our vendors to ensure we are getting the best out of our business partners
  • Create a culture of continual service improvement by reducing operational costs, improving processes, maintaining production stability and listening to the voice of the customer.
  • Improve DR and resilience by ensuring that we have a robust DR strategy and tested plans in place. In parallel, identifying area for improvement such as M365 will help us strengthen our overall resilience.
  • Leverage AI and automation and prioritize activities where these technologies can drive efficiencies and cost savings. Push our vendors to offer advanced solutions in this space, such as predictive analytics
  • Additionally you will
  • Be the point of contact and accountable for the quality and delivery of technology offering in the Desktop Experience product catalogue to global key stakeholders
  • Manage all financial aspects of the product portfolio including annual budgeting, invoice checking and signoff, analyse the financial impact of service and support model changes, manage risks and opportunities. This includes monthly financial review of centrally managed P&L and advising and consulting local business contacts on service cost and investments.
  • Lead a team of skilled product managers, technical leads and, through our managed contract, engineers and operational technicians.
  • Direct the metrics on the total cost of ownership (TCO) for the product to show business value.
  • Partner with other Product Managers and Enterprise architects within EY Technology to align product roadmaps and service and optimize overall user experience.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of support documentation.
  • Lead support and troubleshooting of issues and problems to successful resolution
  • Reporting & monitoring performance, asset & licence management where applicable

Skills And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role you must show approximately 10 years of experience in a comparable product manager role in Technology and leadership experience as well as:

  • Have a history of working credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Have experience leading, motivating and growing technology teams and suppliers
  • Adapt personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills including strong cross-cultural communication and the ability to draft effective communications
  • Empathic listener and persuasive speaker
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong team player and independent self-motivated

Ideally, you’ll also have experience in Mobile and Desktop technologies (Intune, SCCM, Windows Update for Business, Windows Hello for business, Windows client, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, IOS & Android operating systems and controls, desktop packaging technologies, Microsoft AppProxy, ServiceNow service management solution, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Windows Autopilot, Intel/AMD/Qualcomm offerings with large OEMs, Nexthink Digital Experience and Mac OS management.

What we look for: A highly self-motivated experienced leader and Product Manager who has a strong desire to build out and mature existing and new products as part of the Desktop Experience team. Someone who enjoys the challenges of working with the business and technology teams to align on strategy and deliver and maintain products that consistently exceed customer and technology team expectation.

What We Offer

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $138,200 to $266,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,800 to $302,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
