Consortium Professional Recruitment are proud to be working with a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Logistics Planner. This role will focus on planning efficient deliveries, managing subcontractor logistics, and handling key administrative tasks related to vehicle management, fleet planning, and cost control. Youll work cross-functionally to ensure customer and operational requirements are consistently met.

About The Role

As the Logistics Planner, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements, prioritising internal fleet.
  • Maximise load efficiency and reduce costs using in-house planning systems.
  • Manage fleet-related documentation, including vehicle checks, fuel usage, and timesheets.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, manage their invoicing, and support accurate reconciliation.
  • Coordinate returns between sites and arrange hotel bookings for fleet drivers.
  • Monitor and record vehicle mileage and assist with fleet maintenance planning.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of products and accessories, including direct-to-customer orders.
  • Support the business in improving logistics efficiency and maintaining service excellence.

About you:

  • 3 years experience in logistics planning or administration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confident working with planning systems and analysing data.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a logical, analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
