Our Food and Safety team are looking for a new Quality Assurance Operative to join their experienced team in our Harrods Knightsbridge production kitchen.
About The Role
As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of fresh products delivered to our Knightsbridge receiving bank. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will monitor and manage the quality of products from reception to end user, maintaining compliance with food safety standards and quality management protocols.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operation of the label room, including issuing and checking retail and food-to-order labels
- Completing inspections for food safety, e.g., checking due diligence paperwork for correct completion and accuracy, labelling/traceability, raw material stock control
- Routine assurance checks, e.g., temperature and tray wash chemical concentration
- Assisting in customer complaint investigations
- Maintaining calibrations for temperature probes and scales
The role also necessitates a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6am-6pm, which will include weekends, Bank Holidays, or Public Holidays as normal days of work.

You will handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in paperwork and stock management. You will also have:
- Previous Food Safety experience at QC/QA level in food manufacturing or food service

- The ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance
