Role Overview

This position is focused on supporting the improvement of marine retailers\’ business structures and implementing strategic commercial development plans across European markets. The role primarily supports the Network and Boat Builder Business Development Section Manager in strengthening sales capabilities across the specialised marine dealer network and boat builder alliances.

A key element of the role is to enhance brand presence and customer experience by improving the quality of product displays and retail environments. The role requires a blend of business insight and technical understanding, with regular market engagement to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions.

This is a pivotal position within the European marine team, focused both on enhancing current sales channels and developing future opportunities for the full marine product lineup and associated boat alliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales channel development for specialised marine dealers and boat builders.

  • Contribute to strategic alliances with boat builders, including those developed in collaboration with distributors.

  • Collaborate with local branches to develop and implement Pan-European sales channel policies aligned with the midterm plan.

  • Create and analyse business cases to identify sales channel opportunities across different regions.

  • Implement and report on sales forecasts and ordering systems for boat builder alliances.

  • Collaborate with internal marine teams to identify, support, and develop new business opportunities.

  • Develop and manage retail materials to enhance customer-facing environments.

  • Assist with franchise ownership transitions, including negotiation monitoring, documentation, and internal communications.

  • Ensure legal franchising agreements are in line with core policies and manage any necessary local adaptations in conjunction with legal departments.

  • Build proactive relationships with sales teams in local branches and distributors to identify market opportunities and improve sales channels.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
