Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Maintenance Manager on site in Brierley Hill, Dudley.
This candidate will be reporting to the Head of Engineering and deputising for him as and when required.
Although you will be based in Brierely Hill, you will be required to travel to other sites on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, supervise and direct Engineers to ensure efficiency and utlisation of resources
- Apply a Planned Preventive Maintenance model
- Ensuring that all work is completely safe, efficient, and compliant
- Support business production goals
- Providing on-the-job training and identifying deficiencies in existing skills
- Resolve issues with minimal disruption to production or operations
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical certification or degree qualification in industrial maintenance – level 3 minimum
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance with an extra 4 years in a management position
- Teamwork and communication
- Electrically Biased
- Previous (automated) industry experience is desirable
Benefits:
- Salary between GBP45,000 and GBP60,000 per annum
