Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our shopping mall. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and the ability to drive team performance while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The successful applicant must have a full clean driving licence as some driving is required within the role.
Hours: 20 hours per week to be worked over 3 days a week as needed. Rate of pay: £12.96 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cleaning activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cleaning staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular inspections of the shopping mall, equipment and tools to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Implement training programmes for new employees, enhancing their skills in line with company standards. and various other duties as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive team performance through motivation and clear direction.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
- Familiarity with workplace equipment and safety regulations is advantageous but not essential.
- Full clean Driving licence
