Role Overview:
In this role, you will shape the vision and strategy to streamline and harmonize the client\’s Patching processes, covering both on-premise and off-premise environments, including tracking and reporting.
You will apply best practices to enhance agility as part of the Digital Transformation, providing efficient service management through governance practices that utilize KPIs and metrics to monitor quality.
You will collaborate with the CTO and Infrastructure team to develop a comprehensive global infrastructure strategy, creating resilient, replicable processes, and staying updated on technological advancements to maintain or exceed service levels in line with UK standards and SLAs.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the strategy for Patching and Vulnerability Management.
- Ensure compliance with governance standards related to risk and vulnerability management.
- Guide Operational Leads in strengthening existing infrastructure and applications, and in designing new solutions and workflows driven by metrics.
- Introduce innovative ideas to improve IT system accessibility.
- Enhance team proficiency to meet the goals of Application and Product Teams.
- Maintain process transparency for compliance and rapid threat response.
Your experience:
- Proven ability to deliver patching metrics.
- Experience interfacing with Enterprise Technology Teams under the Cyber/Defense umbrella to ensure governance compliance.
- Developing repeatable patching processes for reporting current and future status.
- Strong background in Unix or Windows environments.
- Experience with enterprise automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise OS-based products such as databases, middleware, and Java.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks.
- Previous experience in a service-oriented organization.
