Vulnerability &Patching Lead
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for streamlining and harmonizing our client\’s Patching processes, encompassing both on-premise and off-premise Patching, as well as tracking
You will utilize established best practices to enhance agility as a crucial component of the Digital Transformation process. This involves providing efficient service management by establishing and implementing a governance practice that employs KPIs and metrics to monitor and assess service quality.
You will collaborate with the CTO and Infrastructure team to formulate a comprehensive global strategy for infrastructure. This involves creating resilient and replicable processes, while staying updated on the latest technological advancements. The goal is to proactively maintain or surpass service levels in alignment with UK standards and meet service level agreements with crucial stakeholders and vendors.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the overarching strategy for Patching and Vulnerability Management across various functional domains.
- Ensuring strict adherence to governance standards in relation to our risk profile for Vulnerability Management.
- Guiding Operational Leads in bolstering existing infrastructure and applications, as well as crafting new solutions and workflows to meet metric-driven demands.
- Introducing innovative concepts and approaches to improve the accessibility of IT systems.
- Strengthening the team\’s proficiency to align with the goals of the Application and Product Teams.
- Establishing transparency in processes to maintain compliance with governance protocols and promptly respond to ever-evolving threats.
Your experience:
- Answerable for the Delivery of Patching to metrics.
- Previous experience ofinterfacing with EnterpriseTechnology Teams coming under the Cyber/Defence umbrellato ensure they are within governance.
- Build enduring repeatable patching processes that allow the group to report status and progress to now and future demands.
- Have a demonstrated strong background in Unix or Windows.
- Possess experience with automation frameworks at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrate familiarity with product sets that operate on Enterprise OS Platforms, such as Database, Middleware, and Java.
- Exhibit comprehension of risk management frameworks.
- Have prior experience in a service-oriented company.
