As a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator you will be at the heart of our hotel, turning initial enquiries into unforgettable experiences. Prepare to shine as you conduct captivating show rounds, showcasing our venue for weddings and events. From start to finish, you\’ll be involved in planning our guest’s events up to the day, effectively communicating their requirements to our operational team who will then run the event on the day.
This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of day shifts – with an earliest start time of 8am and a latest finish time of 8pm with some weekend working on a rota basis.
In return the role offers £29,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including regular incentive opportunities, free meals, complimentary & discounted stays with De Vere and free use of our leisure club facilities to name just a few!
Your skills and experience:
• You will ideally have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
• You are passionate about weddings and events and prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
• You forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills.
• You are confident using IT software – familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided
• Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
