Project Quantity Surveyor – Industrial Build | North & East London Location: North & East London Salary: Up to £65,000 + package Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Experience Required: 3–4 Years (Post-Graduate) Sector: Industrial / Commercial / Residential / Infrastructure A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor (PQS) for a new-build industrial project based in North East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS with 3–4 years\’ experience who has worked on similar projects for a reputable contractor and is looking to step up into a pivotal role within a strong commercial team. The Project: You will be commercially responsible for a high-spec industrial build, involving complex groundworks, steel frame construction, and specialist M&E packages. Experience on industrial, data centre, logistics or large-scale commercial projects will be highly advantageous. Other projects in the portfolio include: * High-rise residential developments * Commercial offices and fit-outs * Data centres and mission-critical facilities * Educational and healthcare builds * Large mixed-use regeneration schemes Key Responsibilities: * Managing all commercial aspects of the project lifecycle * Preparing valuations, interim applications, and final accounts * Procurement and management of subcontractor packages * Cost forecasting, variation management, and risk mitigation * Interfacing with clients, consultants, and internal teams * Reporting to the Senior QS and Commercial Manager Candidate Requirements: * 3–4 years post-grad experience with a main contractor * Experience on industrial, commercial, or data centre builds preferred * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline * Familiar with JCT and/or NEC contract forms * Proactive, commercially aware, and confident in a client-facing role What’s on Offer: * Salary up to £65,000 (DOE) * Travel allowance, pension, healthcare & other benefits * The opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value projects * Long-term career development within a Tier 1 contractor with a strong UK pipeline
