Your Mission
Design & Construction Management
- Design and Construction Management of Real Estate Assets including direct-to-consumer (DTC), distributor (DMS), retail partner shop-in-shops (B2B), offices, showrooms, and OAC Oversight
- Manage all aspects of design and construction for retail, showroom, and office spaces, working with the global design, retail and office teams
- Establish a strong link between construction activities and production procurement which is managed by the indirect procurement team, also ensuring tight cost control in partnership with our FP&A and Controlling teams
Facilities Management:
- Oversee facility management for all real estate assets, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and health standards
- Support office management across the globe by implementing standards that can be leveraged by the regional teams
- Manage asset protection, which is especially relevant for the growing own retail fleet
Lease Commitments and Legal Compliance:
- Oversee and manage all Americas lease commitments, collaborating with the retail team and leasing partners
- Manage legal aspects of leases, contracts, and other real estate agreements, ensuring compliance with local and international laws
Financial and Risk Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for real estate projects, including design, construction, renovation, and ongoing operational expenses
- Monitor financial performance against targets and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
- Assess, manage, and develop risk mitigation strategies associated with real estate investments, including market fluctuations and geopolitical factors
Your story
- 8+ years of experience in retail real estate development, retail design, and retail construction management
- 3+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals
- Experience optimizing real estate portfolios for high-growth premium global retail brands
- Knowledgable in various microcultures and physical landscapes of popular metropolitan areas within the region
- Knowledgable in local regulations and compliance requirements for real estate operations within the region
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time; travel percentage will fluctuate based on business needs
