The Customer Quality Specialist provides specialist knowledge and expertise to the management of the Production areas. Driving the performance of the department through ensuring that the manufacturing processes and practices are strictly adhered to, and the equipment is utilised to maximum effect during processing and packaging.
The role provides leadership and guidance to the team, to manufacture in a way that achieves and maximises quality specifications, cost standards and full delivery of order plan, and in addition to delivering these results, ensures the continuous improvement of processes and oversees compliance with company standards.
Customer Quality Specialist\’s specialise in being shift experts on M&S Standards and integrity, particular focus and emphasis on traceability throughout the production flow. Customer Quality Specialists are key in training and coaching of staff with customer standard, with primary focus on M&S products. When not producing M&S products and associated works Champions are to support shift management in the training and development of staff outside of M&S production.

Rate of pay – £15.56 per hour
Responsibilities
- Production Room Performance in specific areas of M&S Integrity, Machinery, Butchery or Blending.
- Specialist Knowledge and Skill within the Department.
- Production standards, specifically during the production of M&S products in Process & Machinery.
- Checking & confirmation compliance to M&S DNA traceability standards
- Training in M&S Specific and wider Customer standards & requirements
- Root cause any issues arising with M&S, follow up actions to be agreed and actioned.
- Delivering on Company Mission, Vision & Values.
- Supporting the management of the shift.
Qualifications
- A good level of English Language
- Leadership experience
- FMCG Experience (Desireable)
