Your Role

As an Account Strategist, you will serve as the dedicated and strategic point of contact for your assigned portfolio of marketplace clients, building strong, long-term relationships and acting as their trusted advisor. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of their marketplace presence, from developing and implementing tailored growth strategies to optimising product listings for maximum visibility and conversions. This includes managing inventory levels to ensure product availability, overseeing pricing strategies to maximise profitability, and meticulously monitoring performance across all key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Your ultimate goal is to drive client satisfaction by delivering exceptional results and exceeding their business objectives, becoming an indispensable partner in their marketplace success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketplace Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client, with a strong emphasis on driving growth and profitability.
  • Optimisation Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of each marketplace ecosystem to optimise client performance. This includes expert management of marketplace SEO, PPC campaigns, product content, listing imagery through effective collaboration with the design team, and overall selling strategy.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, providing proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of marketplace performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate clear, actionable reports and present findings to clients with strategic recommendations.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day management of client marketplace accounts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This includes product listing optimisation, inventory management, pricing strategy, and order fulfilment.

Growth and Expansion: Identify and implement strategies to expand client reach and grow their business within the marketplace ecosystem. This may involve exploring new marketplaces, product lines, or marketing initiatives.
