We are currently recruiting for an individual with experience in transport planning, based at our Treforest Office. This role is office-based, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all sales and distribution queries, responsible for the efficient delivery of products from our Quarries and Plants across the region
  • Handle inbound calls & emails from customers and process orders
  • Communicate effectively with Logistics, Commercial, and Production teams
  • Proactively track orders through to completion
  • Manage enquiries and complaints professionally
  • Maintain a database of customer information accurately
  • Work as part of a team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets
  • Maintain high professionalism in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Ensure full compliance with the Competition Act 1998

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential but advantageous)
  • Experience in transport planning with knowledge of road haulage
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a hard-working approach
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, anticipate problems, and identify solutions
  • Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and good computer skills
