We are currently recruiting for an individual with experience in transport planning, based at our Treforest Office. This role is office-based, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for all sales and distribution queries, responsible for the efficient delivery of products from our Quarries and Plants across the region
- Handle inbound calls & emails from customers and process orders
- Communicate effectively with Logistics, Commercial, and Production teams
- Proactively track orders through to completion
- Manage enquiries and complaints professionally
- Maintain a database of customer information accurately
- Work as part of a team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets
- Maintain high professionalism in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ensure full compliance with the Competition Act 1998
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential but advantageous)
- Experience in transport planning with knowledge of road haulage
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a hard-working approach
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, anticipate problems, and identify solutions
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and good computer skills
