Service Engineer – Forklift Repairs – Site Based in Rochester Competitive Salary: £35,000 – £40,000K + Overtime and Bonuses Our Client As a leading provider of forklift servicing and repair solutions, our client is a trusted name in the industry. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop based Service Engineer to join their team in Rochester, Kent The Role Your responsibilities will include: Servicing and Repairing Forklifts: Conduct regular servicing and repairs and refurbishment of forklifts rucks nd materials handling equipment, including gas, electric, and diesel models. Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Refurbish and re-spray Conduct thorough fault-finding and perform efficient repairs to minimize downtime of equipment. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices. Key Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a strong background in HGV, forklift, plant hire, or similar industries. Experience working on ships or within the Royal Forces is also valuable. Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. What Is on Offer Competitive salary starting at £35,000, with the potential to earn up to £48,000 through overtime and bonuses.
