Job description Extra Recruitment are recruiting for a Quality Inspector in the Redditch area. Details of a Quality Inspector * Location: Redditch B98 0 * Working days: Monday – Thursday Only * Shift details: Days 9.75 hours per day * Pay rate: £14 per hour * Duration of role: Temp to Perm Role of a Quality Inspector * To work to set procedures and Pre-Met’s QMS/EMS systems * Manage Lab requirements and Measurement system analysis (Lab Scope WI Q28) * To carry out General Quality Engineering duties as required * To carry out PPAP/FAIR’s in support of Quality Manager * Creation and maintenance of quality documentation related to NPI and work transfers * Carry out process/product audits as required * Carry out internal product & process training as applicable relevant to QMS/EMS and customer quality requirements * Carry out PPAP/FAIR in accordance with new and modified products when requested * Maintain PPAP/FAIR conformance subject to change management process i.e. lessons learned from non-conformance notifications * Manage MSA programme for all existing and new measurement systems within Pre-Met Requirements of a Quality Inspector * Knowledge and experience in APQP/PPAP/FAIR * Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF16949/AS9100/ISO14001 * Competent with standard measuring equipment – Vernier’s, micrometres, shadowgraphs Benefits of a Quality Inspector * 28 Holidays per year * Weekly Pay * Pension Scheme * Employed Status * Mortgage references If you are interested in the above role, please click apply or call us on (phone number removed) Job Type: Full-time Pay: £14.00 per hour Expected hours: 39 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
