The Role: As a Receptionist, you will act as a key point of contact and be responsible for being the first point of contact for clients and staff on a day-to-day basis. NXT are looking for someone who is personable and confident in their communication skills to join the growing team. Responsibilities: * Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and well cared for, offering refreshments, and assisting with any special needs (e.g., mobility challenges), ensuring they are supported appropriately. * Direct clients and visitors to the appropriate financial adviser or department, providing clear instructions and assistance when needed. * Answer all incoming calls in a polite, professional manner, and promptly route calls to the appropriate department or individual, taking detailed messages and ensuring that inquiries are passed on to the relevant team members. * Monitoring the emails and responding to them in a timely manner or forwarding them onto the relevant people. * Maintain an up-to-date appointment calendar as well as the meeting room bookings, ensuring no overlaps or scheduling conflicts. * Send reminders to clients and staff about upcoming appointments, adjusting schedules as needed. * Maintain a clean reception desk at all times, keeping it stocked with all essentials as well as taking post and signing for deliveries.
